Mass Bruces 3000 BC Bronze age axe head hoard

Hi Guys,
Never posted on this forum before but I thought I would check out this site as there are two article's, one last month and one in the current issue of E&W on hunts over here. Mass Bruce found this hoard in March and it is the finest condition ever found in Britain and with 3 never found before complete bronze ingots. Bruce has written a great report with loads of pictures on how he did it with history on how they were made. Amazing find

Treasure Inquest 2nd June 2005

Hi Guys, Just an update on this hoard of axes. The Treasure Inquest to decide the fate of the hoard is set for the 2nd June 2005 at Colchester Coroner's court. The British Museum have shown interest in purchasing the finds so it will go to an independent valuation committee once it is officially declared hoard. The museum finally dated the axes to 850BC so they are modern LOL
