I was able to get out twice in the last 2 days before new years and scored some nice finds. First to note is the huge No. 14 crotal bell. It is in multiple pieces however I was able to reconstruct most of it using super glue and baking soda. I also found a smaller but still large crotal bell in the same area. Also, I found a few hunks of extremely ornate brass. They were found together and I assume they are all part of the same piece. I might have to post it in the "what is it" forum but I figured I'd try here first. I was also able to find a 1918 merc., an 1864 IH a CW button and a some buttons. Thanks,
Ben

Some neat stuff for sure. Cant get over the size of the crotal bell.

Whatever those pieces of brass are, they're definitely still in great condition to look like that! Great job on finding the crotal bell too.

very nice finds!!

I can envision it. Two Amish carriages traveling in opposite directions on the road-to-no-where having a head on collision. Yep, that would explain the shattered Crotal bell.

Very nice relic collection! The bell is really cool.

Wow! #14!
That's a biggie! My largest is a #9 and that's a fair size; very rare to see those monsters!

Barnum and Bailey called...they want their bell back! That thing is huge! Nice hunt.

That is one nice crotal bell. Good thing you were able to piece most of it back together. Like the other finds also.

That is really a nice big bell there.

RING MY BELL , RING MY BIG BELL . DANG NICE FIND ...

Wow - that bell is unreal man and blows away all the others I've seen. Wonder what it was used for??

Good finds! Two of my favorite coins to find there, Indian and Merc.

Thanks Bill! It sure is the biggest I've ever seen. I only showed it's "good side" in the pictures but he will hold a nice spot in my display case nonetheless.

Dang, that bell is HUGE. The rest of the stuff is awesome as well.
Congrats.

Shame it was broken, I've seen the largest type, a little bigger than that sell for over £100!

That's awesome, thanks! Any idea what the brass pieces are? I've seen some escutcheon plates with the same type of design.
