Massive Roman/Saxon Site - Day 6...

Back down to earth......

As we start to grid the Eastern edge of the coin spread the finds are becoming less. But 9 Roman Coins in 3 hours for me & 2 hours for Dad is still OK. It actually tips us over our best year ever for Roman Bronzes, it amazing to think we are averaging over 25 per week!

Roman Chest Mount/Stud - Hard to see but its a simplified Lions Head

That's what makes the good days so special - because for most of us, there are a lot of fairly boring days with nothing to
write home about. (the pint is more about consolation than celebration !)
