Thought it was an old coin but appears to be lead but gives off a high tone, like a coin. Most of the lead I’ve dug gives a medium tone.

Thinking maybe an old bag seal, part of it is chipped off. About twice the thickness of a quarter. May have some faint writing.

I’m thinking Civil War poker chip. Do a quick google. Pretty cool. Congrats

that High tone might be because of its coin shape. I second poker/game chip. Nice find

Good call on the poker chip. First time seeing one of those. Thanks.

I'm not seeing a lead bag seal, hope the 'CW poker chip' theory pans out.
A few years ago I found a couple of unidentified lead discs, I understand that back in the day these were melted and added to paint.

The divot along the edge makes me think of an electrical box knock out plug . Are you sure it's lead ? It looks like tin in your pic.

Yeah pretty sure it’s lead because of the weight.
