I’m not totally sure maybe a Horse Satchel or knapsack hooks. Came across these I found about 6-7 years ago near the Withalacoochee River in Pasco. Also forgot the musket ball it measures .462 is that 45Cal? Also a couple old 12 gauge shell (paper?)

Thanks in Advance

I don’t it has anything to do with a tent, most did not have any metal except maybe grommets for over the posts or they had pieces of rope or canvas to hold or close openings. Here’s some better angles to show how it would have to be made using these. Also was found on the bank of the river, that why I’m thinking horse attire or some type of bag.

I have found many, many J hooks and those are not J hooks. Sorry, don't mean to shoot you down.

I've hunted civil war relics from battle fields and camps for over 30 years and don't think they are civil war related at all. I was thinking maybe from one of the many turpentine camps in Florida during the 1800s
Tent hardware was just a guess .
