MD hunt turns into turkey hunt

Went out tonight with a Friend of mine on his property.We were walking along and kicked up some turkeys To make a long story short a big Tom flew into the side of my buddies new poll barn.We didn't see it but heard it from about 100 yards away.
Wile he went inside to push the dent out I tracked the bird and found him.About 25 to 30 pounds.I still can't belive that happened.

Seriously though I'm glad you weren't hurt. They can do some damage if they hit a windshield. I ran over one while motorcycle riding and darn near killed myself.

I haven't read anything in the hunting regulations that says you cant use a pole barn to hunt
with.

You can hunt with pole barns, but hardly anyone does it anymore. We used to hunt deer with Chevy pickups in Oklahoma, and would manage to get one or two a year when we least expected it. I just hope he wasn't in a state where you have to have a tag to have certain game in your possession or the game warden is real picky about seasons. It's still a funny story, probably not to the turkey though.
