So I have been detecting for a year now and have had a blast! I have found gold, silver, Civil War relics, bits of history and what seems to be about a metric ton of trash. So today was an off Friday so I decided to hit a local park that I had never been to before, tons of targets, lots of trash but I was only going to spend an hour as I had stuff to do around the house so I moved quickly and cherry picked high tones to get a feel for the place. Passed up on a lot of signals as I was looking for areas of concentration out on these multiple large soccer fields. I dug a fair amount of clad and trash and a small religious medal before I had to head home. Recon successful I will get back there and hunt it in a more methodical fashion but when I got home I discovered I had found my first ONE THOUSANDTH stinkin Lincoln Penny!!! I am going to get rich one cent at a time!
