Hello! About 5 years ago I was doing field renovations for my daughter's softball league and was having a hard time locating the iron base pegs under the infield dirt. My dad "loaned" me his Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II that was collecting dust in his garage. After a quick tutorial, I used it to easily find the pegs. After that it collected dust in my garage until I recently rediscovered it and hit a local park.
This park was more popular in the 1960's and '70s than it is now. In three trips I've found about 35 coins dated from '53 to '79, including one wheat and one silver dime. Now I'm hooked, if not obsessed!
BTW, when the sun went down on one of these trips I couldn't quit and kept on detecting by moonlight. Every time I hit a coin, I sang to myself a modified line from CCR that became my nickname on this forum.
Thanks for reading!
