Hi,
recently I acquired the following medal but was unable to find any reasonable information (at least not in a language I would understand) about its origin, age or worth. It should be dedicated to the Hugh, Duke of Alsace (855 — 895) but that, together with what is written directly on the medal is about the only information I was able to gather. Could anyone help, please? It is too fine a medal to remain mysterious...

Thanks a lot, that suits me quite well. I don't know how could I missed that one, all I found were vague references in old German or French catalogues.
