Picture of Medal found in my yard. Catholic Church has never seen it, Army museum hasn't either. Local papers have also been at a loss except to suggest logging onto this forum.

Might try contacting an Army chaplan or inquire at local Catholic church.

I think there was one of those in here not to long ago.
It was some WW1 or 2? military medal and catholic saint medal combination.
but I think the one it reminds me of had St. Christopher??

Very common saint medallion.

Google searches should provide lots of current makers of the medallions with Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marines.

There have been some here before - still a great medallion find. WTG!

What you have is an Army WW-2 sweetheart medal. Odd mix of religion and army. Not that common. Great find!

The first two pages are medals that are a little different but all military/saint medals... I''m not saying thay are so common you can trip over them... but they have been around for a long time... these are new ones for sale.
