Went to Arkansas after my Dad had to have a pacemaker installed. While there, had to see a dentist. The dentist said all my upper teeth had to come out.

??!! I talked it over with Dad and, well, he WAS a dentist, after all. Instead of pulling, he crushed the teeth and took out the pieces. In the process, he turned one tooth root sideways in the gums and shoved another root into the left sinus cavity. It wasn't until later we learned that this "dentist" ..."D.D.S." didn't FIX teeth - he only removed them and sold cheap dentures! I ended up with both viral and bacterial infections. However, instead of prescribing an antibiotic that I had used before and was not allergic to, he olny dealt with 2; one I was allergic to and the other very, very weak.
My vision went from near 20/20 to 20/200 in about 6 weeks. Ended up seeing an oral surgeon who was a 3-hour drive away to do the re-work. He stopped counting when he hit 40 pieces of tooth and root pulled out of my mouth, at up to 6 months after the initial extractions!
Has been several years now. Vision goes haywire now and then, so I cannot drive without my wife along with. Things can get blurry within seconds!! My medical doctor had me seeing nearly every specialist under the sun in order to figure out what happened. However, with all the malpractice lawsuits out there and the laws and such in Minnesota, nobody was willing to commit to anything. Best answer I got was from one specialist that it was one of the infections that had messed me up somehow. But without being able to prove it in court, that info never made it to my medical records.
Qaela4 - My prayers are with you and yours as well.
BagLady - Cheers for not being ashamed or afraid to admit that you pray!! ...but that's a whole other discussion!!!!
