Pre '82 Copper Pennies }........Since 2006, melting down for profit has has been outlawed, with a fine and imprisonment as the penalty.
Nickels }........Same as above. Melting Outlawed !
Silver coins } Anyone know if there is a law against melting these coins for profit ? Can you give me a hyperlinked address where I can read the latest ruling on this ?
