As I sit here at my computer the weather man is forcasting freezing rain,yuck About all I can do is sit here and wish that the scenes I have posted were back for real. Thanks for taking a look.

I don't envy the folks that are going thru that huge ice storm this week either, it was a record HIGH of 76 here yesterday and will be below freezing by the weekend ... mother nature is having her way with us all

Yes she is having her way. we are covered with ice falling trees and no power . The power just came on. It was getting a little cold in here 60 degrees when it came on. Feels pretty good now,and now we have lights also Yippee

Winter has some pluses and I can put up with some of the negatives,but this is a little early. The ice today has did slot of damage. Its surprising how many things takes for granted when it comes to electricity. We just now got power after 12 hours.

I would take Carolinas 81 over snow or ice, but ice is something that really creates some problems up here in the midwest,not good stuff.

Van in Eastern North Carolina we do good to drive in a heavy rain Last year unexpectedly a sheet of ice came in the early am . There were major pileups on the interstate as it was rush hour > some of the drivers stayed in traffic for 12 hours
