Found a promising site late this afternoon. Detected for about an hour and found two wheats (1920/1925) and lots of bullets, bullet casings, shot gun brass. I was forced to pass over many "diggable" targets but the setting sun forced me to pass.

The .22 bullets pictured each had three hammer marks on the rim, must have been a budget shooter!

1320 thinking he has found the Defenses of Frenchburg! ;D

Bullet on the left is possibly a Civil War find... could be a 44 cal. from a single-shot Frank Wesson Rifle. Those are pretty scarce if it is.

The tent grommet definitely has the look of a CW period one.
