Got some nice looking Mercs today (and one decent looking IH).

Coins 052023.webp

In all, three indian head pennies, four mercury dimes, and seven wheat pennies. I also picked up a shield nickel that is so slick you can barely see the five and the stars. Also got a copper. Can't really identify it, as it lacks details. Believe I can see the design of an Upper Canada Bank Half Penny Token (1837 design) but can't be sure.

Miscellaneous 052023.webp

And then some odd stuff. The broach (buckle?)would appear to be silver, but no hallmark, so maybe plated silver. Nineteen fifties Avon compact. Fine buckle. A cool marble.
The item marked Roanoke, Ind. is also marked Pik-A-Nut. Maybe a freeze plug? The Euthymol Tablets container is complete. Dates to 1906.

Today's finds...

3 Indian Head Pennies...1893, 1897, and illegible (1902?).
7 Wheat Pennies...1917-D, 1919, 1920-D, 1927, 1936, 1940-S, 1957-D.
4 Mercury Dimes...1918, 1936-D, 1941, 1943
1 Shield Nickel...date illegible.
1 copper...unidentified
1 broach/buckle
Avon Ripe Cherry compact lid
Brass suspender buckle
Marble
Pik-A-Nut Freeze Plug?
Euthymol Tablets Cannister (1906)
