Mercury dime "1946 ????"

Recently, don't remember who or where, but the subject of a rare date Merc dime as 1946 came up. The last year of Merc's was the 1945, then 1946 Rosie's began. Is there any truth to this rumor, just like the six known 1913 V-nickel know to exist but never intended for circulation, started in 1913 with the Buffalos. Comments, true or false ?
