Mercury RISING ???

Went searching in a few dime boxes this week and out of 4 boxes from all different banks/ coin vendors, found three nice looking mercs, the best was a 1919-D in VG-F condition. A real keeper for the collection and out of the silver stack for sure. Normally I can go for weeks without finding a single merc, now to get three in one day. Mercs are still a good looking coin as to details, especially on the reverse when you find one with full bands.

Very nice. I did 4 boxes this weekend and found one 1964, horribly painful for one keeper.

Could be somebody released them for the coin week event. Lots of coins released by people all over the USA Monday a week ago, to give people an opportunityt o find things and get excited about the hobby.
