Merry Christmas and yes I'm a newbie,
Hi,
Yes I'm a newbie. And would enjoy the chance to exchange information on differnt detector
Makers and models. I picked up a tek 4000 and have played with it.
So far found a gold high school ring, gold engagement ring ( which had identifing marks, I listed via craigslist and paper item as found) and was able to return to owner:-) after they were able to provide discreption of those marks.
several pennies, dimes,nickels, and a few quarters.
One of which is dated 1948. All on the beach.
This started out for me as a way to get me out and walking, after a leg injury. But I'm finding I'm rather enjoying it. Not for the value of items I find.
But more of the thrill in finding them.
And reading about others finds.
I look forward to learning more and any positive input.
