I watched a piece on Headline News this Christmas morning about this. A gentleman from Austin, Tx decided to do his part to help returning war vets cope with their PTSD. He is a song writer and holds camps with the vets and together they write songs about their feelings and memories. Out of these encounters come some beautiful music as well as healing and strength to continue the process of living. You may listen to the music through the site and you may make a donation which allows you to buy the complete albums of songs created at these camps. Whether you buy or listen, please pass the site on. It is important that we do all we can for these warriors and their families.
If you are a vet, you will understand the powerful emotions these people share with each other and the camera. If you watch and listen without tears, I pray God softens your heart.
The site is : songwritingwithsoldiers.org
Thank you and Merry Christmas.
