well not really.. cassie did. but i got to talk to him too! his name is stan! he used to search through pennies back in the 1950s and collected jars and jars full. he said he's too old to enjoy them and he sounded like he really knew his stuff saying he's done all the wheat and indian cent books along with the Flying eagle cents but he had to buy some of them. he said he knows theres some good stuff in there but he doesnt have the time to look through them and i can buy the jars if i want. i offered to search through them and cash the memorials in at a coin counter and give him the cash. what should i do.. i'm kinda excited for the phone call tomorrow to go over!

buy them all if you can. also please tell me the words in bold is a typo and you do not plan on cashing all the non-memorials because the way i read it you sound like you are going to cash in all the wheaties and keep all the memorials. you did say he collected in the 1950's.

haha yes a typo my bad i'll fix it but you knew what i meant. i really hope he'd take a deal on them he said they've collected alot of dust and have been sitting for 50 years... i think i might just send cassie with some money and get some and see if its worth it.

bring either a scale to guess by weight (and a calculator and know how much 1 penny weighs), or bring a $25 penny box so you can guess by volume. I can usually guess bulk penny's within $5.

Start off asking how much he wants, and judge from there how you should respond. I would pay 5 cents a coin, maybe 7 cents tops

If I'm not mistaken, Cassie is his young wife that enjoys CRH as much as he does. This would & could be a wonderful hobby if both spouses were involved in it, double the excitement of the HUNT.
