metal button - age?

Button is dime sized - possibly copper with hints of silver gild. No markings on front - markings you see on front just look to be deformations of the surface. Back is rusted ?tin?...shank is hard to see. Found this on someone's property - I'd like to be able to give them some historical info on this - any age range based on the pic/description?

From what i can tell it is a modern civilian button. It is probably less than 70 years old.
