metal decting premission

HI I lived down from an old 1850s farmhouse. It been for ale and while and someone just bought it who has kids. Would anyone know how one would be able to get premission to metal dectect or bottle hunt? I know where the bottles are. STill wishing to get premission.

Maybe a cake or plate of cookies along with a welcome to the neighborhood. Talk to them a few times and maybe show them your collection. After getting to know them a little bit then ask. Just don't over do it and be the pest of the neighborhood. Good luck
