I am fairly new to metal detecting and have done it no further than my own backyard. Does anyone know the areas that might be good to detect in the northern half of alabama? (Preferably in the NE and East central areas) I am using a Garrett Ace 150.
 
What are you looking for? Modern dropped jewelry, old coins, civil war artifacts?
 
Mainly old coins and civil war artifacts.
