State permits

I live in New Jersey and as far as I know we have only one beach. :( Got the free permit tried it a few times. To many others. My hope is to talk with the Distric Ranger and set up a program to work some of the camp grounds. My exp. (Scoutmaster) shows hope that these grounds will have some silver. The state worrys about colonial sites. We have a few site in the state forest that go back to late 1700s and 1800s. Some people have been caught and is making hard on the rest of us.

Wish you good luck. :)

PS Lets get some more places to hunt.

Missouri has a lot of lakes, and most of the swimming beaches are man made. Camp grounds are very good for coins and rings, and trinkets. You mentioned you are a Scoutmaster. Have you hunted the scout camps? You should, if you haven't. They can be a gold mine if they are set up right. I may try the swimming beaches sometime, I don't have a detector designed for underwater hunting. I could hunt the dry beach area, will just have to take a look see. HH. Scotty

Hi
your right about the parks and camps. Right now I am working a Girl Scout camp six miles from my house. Whats even greater is the Range is going tobe lowering the lake with the swim area and he will let me know so I can detect the swim areas. Worked the beach got a few clads and a charm. :)

Good luck
