The key element here is a TIF 8800 combustible gas detector.

And this will alert to ANYTHING CLOSE to a fossil fuel...

Yes, I just thought this was a VERY unique mod to a metal detector.

The guy in the pic has a Metortech. They were first made in 1959. I used one of those in the early '70's In good ground it might pick up a bullet 6" deep. In some places it would pick up a quarter on top of the ground.
