Sorry I dont have a link. Just seen it on the news. The women was heartbroken because her father gave it too her mother when they got married, and they gave it to her. It fell off the necklace somehow in the surf.
The guy went looking for it after she came in to his shop to buy a detector and found it for her in waist deep water 1 foot deep.
Way to go man - whoever you are.

I agree usually I get sucked in to looking for stuff where the people have no clue where they lost it over here, well maybe it was over there! My most satisfying and not a waste of my limited time at beach was finding a hearing aid for a teenaged girl who was hysterical and her mom they offered a reward , I turned it down!
