metal plate

Hi all. Found this in my yard last year. It says sears reg with something below tho I haven't figured that out and what seems to be a large number 1 on one side. On the other is 2 stars, another number1. It's 2 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 16th thick and a magnet has no effect on it. It weighs 34.5 grams.any ideas?
