Alright, finally was able to get these up. Stopped by a new site I just got permission to hunt. Found these two pieces, and a few crude scrapers. The amount of debitage was very encouraging.

They are natural alright, but they have been used. I know what our pink quartzite looks like when it's been ground on. And the other, well there's more to that story.:-)

The metate is very well defined. I like it. On your nutting stone......I have to ask because I have never found one before. But dont you think the hole is too deep? It looks almost like it was a drilled piece that didnt get finished. Like I say I have never found one. Any worked flakes in the mix?
