I avoid meteor showers, the last one nearly beat me to death.

look to see where they land, they bring a pretty Penney ;D

Me and the Mrs. just came back in. We stayed out about 30 minutes and saw 7 of them. 3 were very bright. I wonder what percent of them ever hit the ground. I know most burn up when they hit the atmosphere.

I am on my way outside to take a look, kinda cloudy here on Maui tonite

Actually its not a meterite till it hits the ground.I saw one every few seconds.

I was up last night with a headache (I NEVER get headaches)-so I went out around 2:00 a.m. and sat on my deck. Saw absolutely nothing..damn those streetlights. :( It was nice and cool outside though-a welcome relief from the awful heat of the afternoon. After a while I started to feel better and was finally able to get to sleep. REMINDER TO SELF: To avoid headaches at night, remeber to drink water when the weather is hot. Hopefully I'll be sound asleep at 2:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, although I sure wish I could see the meteor showers.
