Ok. CZ 20 all RTV’d. Got new battery door & gasket. Yard tested MD. Decent water scoop. Waiting for 1 part to chest mount. Dirt or dry sand since ’83. Never been in the water or really studied a water MD person. Watched some Youtube. Looking for just a basic method.
I’m right handed. Will chestmount. So-
Detect with left? Scoop with right? OR the other way?
Will rig a way to drag the scoop. (as an option/addition to carrying it)
Do I tether the shaft in case I need two hands? (as to not stress the coil wire)
Pretty well read on search patterns. Will employ Precise1 stress relief for the coil wire.
Fisherman here-got water shoes,waders, good wading accessories. Just looking for a little input on the method.
Also- any CZ users comments on the wires using a chest/belt mount on the left or right side.
