At one of my 1850’s 60’s permissions that I have found multiple civil war eagle and flat buttons. I have found a 1714 silver Norwegian coin button other Norwegian buttons. Tonight I found 4 buttons including a general service and 1 I believe is another Norwegian crown button. The eagle and snake button is a Mexican button but I’m not sure how old. I have no idea why it would be in the field with the Norwegians. Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Good selection of early buttons!

that's really cool. Seemingly way out of place, but a deep and detailed look into the history of the place (I'm assuming some sort of military action or presence took place there) might uncover how a Mexican button ended up there

Nice job, congrats! :occasion14:
