I spent the day in Fostoria Michigan attending MMD’s “Michigan Megalohunt”. It was a seeded hunt on 10 acres of farmland. According to Eventbrite’s ticket sales there was about 120 participants. The 10 acres were sucked dry in about the first 30 or 45 minutes! There was supposed to be an even larger field dating back to the mid 1800s open to hunt for natural finds but the plug got pulled on that at the last minute.... 
It was the first seeded hunt I’ve attended, it had its up and down. Although I didn’t score any big silver or prizes it was an adventure and I think I did ok.
