Another Newbie.
I just ordered a entry model. Ace 250.
I have 2 reasons I wanted to get into detecting, other than the joy of finding lost treasures...
1. I lost my truck keys in my yard/garden... on that keychain there were a few more important keys that would cost me an arm/leg to replace and get locks changed.
2. I have to young daughters who love the pirates life... ok, its a Disney life, but they love hiding treasure and sending each other searching. I want to have another excuse to bond with them and help get their interests outdoors. \
Now I know the Garrett Ace 250 is not the greatest detector around and I will most likely be wanting a model a little higher up the food chain by the end of the 2015 summer. But I figured I had to get started somewhere. Can't wait to detect in 2 foot of snow...
