Holy smokes! That's a huge pile of silver, and old silver at that! Any type of history for the area that there would be that many silver coins? Did you find them all in one location that it was possibly a cache?

Congrats! Amazing find. :occasion14:

WOW! FABULOUS TO FIND SO MANY OLD COINS IN ONE AREA! :wav: Andi

Wow! Great score! It's a Banner day when thinking how rare medieval silver is compared to other times in history. If it comes out of a hoard (what i guess but you didn't stated) it's a no brainer anyways! :occasion14:

Are you not even excited? I would be hysterical! That is an entire treasure in one day! Strong box, Spill??? 6 of the exact same pic but one has backward print or watermark?

MORE DETAIL PLEASE!

place where I found them is a typical medieval village life period from the 14-15 century. The coins were in a pile on the ground and some of them were broken pottery, were at a depth of 50-60cm. It is probably a hoard of coins.
I think I had a lot of luck, and XP did a good job
It is an incredible feeling to find something like that:occasion14:

at the time of discovery, my battery was empty(is always empty when you need it most)
yes, it is a silver.....when the silver coins are in a crowd, because they have a certain percent of the bronze itself, over time they appear in green color

I'm totally speechless ! What a huge find. Congratulations :) Happy Hunting

Now that's hoard, congrats on the find.

Wow - what country was this found in - was it Turkey, or are they just Ottoman coins? Did you make the news?

Were you the gent who donated the massive Turkish silver coin find to the museum in Romania?

Amazing...:notworthy:

Very nice, congrats!
