Middle of the night.

I was looking through a box in my room cleaning out some stuff and came across some coins that my husband purchased when he was laid off. During the middle of the recession between 08-09. He would buy stuff on eBay and take it down to the local coin shops and sell for about double or triple what he paid for it. I guess he kept some of it though here's one set says inside paid 110 at 4 AM on eBay! I must say it's pretty nice though!







There was another note Inside of a separate box. Said 1932 p, d, S quarter paid $125 3:30 AM. This is the coins.













I wish we could find deals like this still!

I'd say he got a heck of a deal. The 1932 S&D quarters in that condition should bring $200 on eBay right now, if not more.

I wouldn't sell any of them without having them checked in hand by an expert these are some of the most counterfeited coins ever. Here is a direct quote from A Complete Guide to Washington Quarters on David Lawrences site.....

Get a good price-sell em. Much easier to get forgivemess than permission.

We took them to a lcs they offered $125 each. He kept them! Maybe he will sell them when the kids start college!

I would have passed as well good choice, in a AU55 NGC or PCGS plastic that 32-D is worth more than his entire offer. Although i cant really accurately grade it from the pics.......
