Up in this part of the country yesterday. About 30 miles north of where I live. Lots of sagebrush and wide open areas. Also home to Kremmling Chert, a fine workable material quarried by prehistoric man for use in tool manufacture. One source I read said that Middle Park has the largest concentration of paleoindian sites in North America.
