So back in the summer I had decided to do some caving. I hop out the car at black cat cave and noticed a huge gate blocking the entrance. I left and found another to explore. No plans or ideas in mind just basically sight seeing. A good ways in something in the gravel wash immediately caught my eye. With years and years of metal detecting one can't help but spot that patina. I picked up a copper trade bell. Imagine the disbelief of finding one in near perfect shape. I've only seen pictures of them and even then they were bent, busted or broken. So what do I do next, I start looking. A few feet away in the same wash was a tubular bone bead. In the same area I also found two fossilized animal teeth. There's also a clay tube bead I found yet I can't remember where I put it . The bell is about 1/2, 3/4 if you add the part that it hangs by.
