He was a farmer, who apparently never married. Lived with his sister, and for a while her daughter.
It appears he had a chunk of land that he owned. It was at least the size circled in white.
In the red, is where his house stood. The house disappeared somewhere between 1906 and when the current home was built in 1975.
I wish the house was still there....


The ground all around has certainly been worked.
