This appears to be lead to me but I'm not certain. It's non-magnetic. Weighs about 5 ounces.

Is this part of an actual lead pipe? Or maybe a fragment of something?

Looks like part of an old babbitt bearing. Used in lineshaft, old engines etc. Tony
