Oh no, I saw this once, Sir David Attenborough made this same mistake on Nature(PBS), season 12 episode 17. That reptile in the picture is clearly a male of the species...........he wasnt trying to bite you/attack you, he was attempting to mate with you, after all you did "tickle" his throat! You are very lucky he didnt get his teeth into you, Sir David was not so lucky............it was a horrifying yet alluring 3 minutes that I just couldnt take my eyes away from.

what with the rattlers,spiders,scorpions,bees,ants,sharp cacti, on the claim (in AZ) to worry about ,now i gotta keep an eye on the romantic lizards too? , have a great day AP, george

oh 1911 don't be a baby lol just dig the good stuff an remember you may make a lizards day but rubbin under his throat but don't do it to them double ended bugs they get a little aggressive when you interupt em lol.
