I got to get out of the house for a few hours this morning and decided to stay close to home and do some digging on a new permission in the old part of town. I had hunted it very briefly once over a year ago but just never went back for some reason despite having found a couple of wheaties. Last week I saw the owner working on his truck and asked for permission to try again. Thankfully he said yes, and though I only had an hour I did manage to squeeze out a '39 (not pictured). Today I headed back to give it another go, after 2 cups of coffee and a Dr Pepper to wind my clock. Here are the results.
