military button or what, Band uniform ?

Found this years ago and never found out anything about it.Its American so I figure you guys will know.I dont think its anything special and always thought it might be from a band uniform.The back says Sheilds Inc Attlboro Mass.Eagle over a shield with 13 stars around also what looks like a flying bird with radiating lines on the shield.

I can virtually guarentee you it's NO older than 1947...

Judging by the look and the backmark, I'd say 1950s - 1960s.
