I have an opportunity to buy this piece, the seller is describing it simply as a Military Cartridge Box.
I'm hoping the experts here might be able to tell me where this piece originated and the age.

I have no details on the dimensions or what the interior looks like other then the pics you see here.

The Baden Army was the military organization for German state of Baden. This had to be manufactured and used prior to 1871. If you cannot open link search Baden-Cartridge Box-Officer and you should find it. Cheers.
