✅ SOLVED Militia or Native American or???? Marked Ster-Gun Metal patina

[SnoGirl]

can anyone help me. I found this in a TS "junk" bag of jewelry. It is marked "ster". and I do not see any other markings. Size is seen in association to penny. Thanks much in advance. I am having problems researching. I have not found anything similar so far.

Its in the style of a Viking Brooch, probably used by re-enactors. Being sterling Silver, it would have been pretty expense.
