Hi people.
Living in a coastal area I'm an avid beachcomber. So on holidays I always make long walks on the beaches picking up lots of junk...erm I mean "treasures" that I take home to sort out, haha.
A couple of years ago I found this bottle, half burried with an entourage of other bottles and light bulbs on a sandy beach on a greek island. It is about 15cm (6 inches) high.

Almost pristine condition, except for the aluminum cap/seal that has had some wave and beach wear.
Could this be a nursing bottle for farm animals? I guess the white powdery stuff inside is powdered milk, right? Or is this some kind of vintage infusion?

Anybody out there that knows what this is?
No other markings beside the logo and the gradation. The logo reads "UPR".

Any info will be appreciated.

Looks more like a chemical container rather than a milk bottle

Medical Waste; over the past 5 or 6 years medical waste dumping has greatly increased in the Adriatic and Med.

You can thank Germany for their State Sponsored Human Trafficking ships that supposedly rescue illegal migrants from the sea. Italy currently has 3 ships from Germany that will remain in Italy until the trial is over, Turkey also has a ship from them as well.

Funny how the Germans keep screwing everything up and for some reason they get to sit at the adult table and talk amongst the educated.

I don't think it is a milk bottle, but I do think it could be dangerous!

Just some facts!

UPR...May be for: University of Puerto Rico...established in 1900's

They have their own Museum for Bottles...You may want to send them a picture?

Collections ? School of Pharmacy

It is some type of dispensing bottle with Metric Measurements

It may be a Medicinal Bottle.

Again like others have stated...Be Very Careful with what may be Inside!

Probably something I would not want in my house. That seal reminds me of what's on an insulin bottle.

Thanks for the input, I have no intention of opening it :-)

Not all Germans!

And about half of all americans voted Hillary. If anything she would be worse than Merkel.

The problem is rather "liberal brainrot" in the whole wetern world tahn a specific nation.

All things considered, my best guess is that its a "Powdered Aspirine" bottle from France - and might have a Beyer Aspirin connection. Aspirine seems to have been the Usines Du Rhone's main product over the years.

Wow! Sodabob that is excellent detective work there! From the logo only I'd never come up with "Usines du Rhone"...
I will check out all the links you have posted, my French is not that bad, I guess I should be able to find out exactly what I've got there. I'll let you know when I do.
That's what is great about TNet, allways someone will be able to help :-)
Cheers
