milk of magnesia bottles

[Theresia of Virginia]

we are frequently finding milk of magnesia and other bottles on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at the beach, most likely originating from a ship wreck. Does anybody know the name of the ship and perhaps the date it sunk?

Are they the Phillips bottles? I find loads around here because he was out of Stamford and then Glenbrook CT.

Hello Theresia and welcome to this site. As far as a ship wreck goes, well , there were many off the Eastern coast. Do your bottles still have caps or some type of closure? If not, then they are likely dumped bottles. What other types of bottles are you finding and can you provide some photos?

If you like blue bottles (cobalt) I can kick down few..I have milk crates full of them.
