Found a milk token yesterday. Described as I.Berns W. Division St. Bell P. 2546 The front has Good For 1 Pint of Milk. I will take some pics and post later, just wondered if anyone has seen or heard of this type. Thanks for any replies. Jgas

Oh yes, it is approximately 1" x 1 1/2". Found in South Bend Indiana about 2 inches down at a 1910 home. It is aluminum. Thanks again...

I don't find it in Reiter's Dairy Token book or Wagaman's IN tokens book, but have sent an e-mail to the fellow who is now cataloging IN tokens to see if he knows anything. The first place to look, IMO, is South Bend, IN, since it was found there. I discounted that right off, since I couldn't find a Division Street there via MapQuest. But, after looking at your pics, there appears to be a number between the proprietor name and W. Division St. Am I right? I looked in my 1908 Postal Street Guide and find that at that time there was a Division Street in South Bend that ran from 100 to 3900 West, so South Bend is back in the running. I'll let you know what I find.

Thanks for the reply Idaho...The number in the middle looks like 722 or 322.. The gouge was right through it, although I can't claim that I did that. Thanks again for any more information you might gather about it. It is appreciated. HH jgas
