Minelab 705 display issue

My new Minelab X-terra 705 is now having a display issue. The bottom LCD bar on the right no longer blacks out :/ It's really annoying.

I've attached a pic.

Try a factory reset?

If it's new it should hopefully still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer for a solution.

Mine started doing thw same thing in August and then other display characters would also not show which was affecting use so I sent it in 2 weeks ago- Haven,t heard
anything (its under warrantee) but expect soon they claim about 2 weeks service time.
