I have a Minelab Excal 1000 for sale. It has a brand new this year Minelab Excal II battery(the old one would not hold a charge very long anymore) and a new armcuff(the old one developed a stress crack). It comes with the battery charger, coil cover, and original owners manual. I have this one as a back up to my Excal II but I am selling it to get some money to pay some bills. I have found lots of nice things with this detector. The only problem I am aware of is an intermittant short in the headphone cord. Sometimes the audio will get real low and you have to "jiggle" the cord going into the headphone to bring it back to normal. It hasn't been enough of a problem to fool with it so far. I want
