Detector(s) used
XP DEUS/
Minelab Explorer SE (with Coiltek WOT spider, Coiltek Joe, SEF 10x12 )/Bounty Hunter Land Star.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I know that explorers have problems on small gold, but I'd like to know what is really difference in depth between EXP and DFX on gold. is 1-2gram nugget considered as small gold?

Certainly not my thing but I would not expect either of those detectors to do very well. The smallest pieces of lead I find are pretty small, but I would guess they'd weigh more than a gram or two. I think there is a couple other regular type detectors that will do a bit better, but not as good as a real gold unit.

... on second thought the lead is pretty small. But I still think there probably is better units to serve the purpose.

I agree Frank.

Thank you guys for your kind replies, but can you give me any idea on the depth where should I expect 2gram nuggets to be found? 1 inch two... 5-6 ??

5-6 inches? I think you have to track down a forum with some guys that have experience to know exactly what you're getting into. 2 grams is a very small target and your average detector would be doing good just to pick it up.
